School’s Out Friday Movies

Join us on Friday, March 10, from 2 – 4pm for an animated movie, rated PG, and running 1hr and 42 mins.In the 1970s, 12-year-old boy schemes and plots with the help of his minions to become a member of an infamous group of supervillians. Chaos, adventure, and hilarity ensue after he manages to steal a valuable object from their headquarters.

Library Closing Early Tuesday, 3/7, 4pm

School’s Out Craft

Join us on Monday, February 20, from 2 – 4pm for a drop-in, self directed craft at the library. This craft will feature DIY tile coasters. Everything for your craft will be provided. Those 8 and younger will need to be accompanied by a person 14 and older as per our Unaccompanied Child Policy.

Keweenaw Garden Club: Why Natives?

Keweenaw Wild Ones president Marcia Goodrich will discuss the value of native plants on Monday, February 20, from 6:30 – 7:30pm, focusing on their critical role in America’s ecosystems and the benefits they bring to homeowners and communities. Winter Reading Challenge 2023

Fly Tying Class

PLDL Offers Chromebooks For Take-Home Checkout

The Portage Lake District Library is now offering Chromebooks for checkout, which cardholders can take home for up to 14 days.
