Handling Mental Health Crisis Effectively and Humanely

At a free public program at the Portage Lake District Library at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 12, Houghton Police Lieutenant Nick Roberts and J. Eric Waddell, chief learning officer of the Cardinal Group II, will describe training that local law enforcement is getting to prepare them to deal with people in mental health crisis.
