April 16th: Michigan Library Advocacy Day
Today advocates from all over Michigan will be meeting with legislators. State aid funding enables libraries and library cooperatives to offer education, training, and resources, meeting the growing demand for information. It also comprises about 5% of our own funding where every dollar matters. Contact your legislators TODAY and tell them that Michigan libraries (like ours) need their support! The Library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23rd and Friday, Nov. 24th to allow our staff and patrons time to rest. We will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 25th from 10am-3pm.
